MONDAY
All your art materials are provided!! These are professional paints and brushes. A selection of canvases and watercolour paper. Plus mediums, oils sticks, mixed media etc is all available. Everything you could wish for!!
Arrive at the studio for 10.0am. If you are not good at navigation we will meet you at your hotel!
AM We go on location in the morning and understand what painting is!! We always take you to wonderful places that have architecture and flora/fauna and people - so you can choose your subjects and what to draw.
All will be explained. We sketch in charcoal or pencil, understand line and how we compose fine art paintings. we also talk about concepts, and how to create an original painting. It is fun, relaxed and original!
A VERY GOOD STARTING POINT FOR YOU!! we are told and very original!!
PM We create a masterpiece in the studio - in acrylics - which is the easiest medium to use. You are taught how to create a 'professional' product - how to prepare your canvas and some special and unique tips on how to create perfect composition!
Some students however, just want to paint in oils or watercolour. YOUR CHOICE - you can do that too.
It's quite fun to experiment on this holiday!! Help and guidance is given at all times. We are very different (we are told) as we do not 'just let you paint' - we teach, inform and motivate every day!!

TUESDAY
AM We go on location and paint in oils or acrylics or watercolour. This is your oportunity to learn how to paint 'properly' alla prima in oils! Or if you don't want to use oils - that's OK - try watercolour, YOUR CHOICE!!
You are always instructed on how to choose the best subjects and how to compose a 'fine art' painting. Caroline or Alex always talk you through every approach.
PM We finish off our masterpieces in the studio. Caroline and Alex are always there to show you technique, colour balance and how to get the best out of your painting.
Day finishes at 5.0/6.0pm
WEDNESDAY
AM We go inland to Juanar, Ojen & Monda. (Beautiful white villages) with sensational mountain backdrop. We paint on location in oils, watercolour or acrylics in Juanar.
Lunch is somewhere beautiful in the mountains.
Then we go onto Monda. We always plan to sketch here but everyone is usually so laid back/relaxed - they just want to take photos!!
Day finishes at 5.0/6.0pm
THURSDAY
AM We go on location and paint in oils, acrylics or watercolour. There is a different theme for each day.
REMEMBER!! We always take you to great places but more importantly we ALWAYS give you great help and advice - our mission is to 'Bring out the Artist in YOU!!'
PM We finish off our masterpieces in the studio. Caroline will give a demonstration on some days but she doesn't want to influence you to paint 'like her' - neither does she want to 'impose her will on you'!! but students do say the demonstrations are really inspirational and helpful!

FRIDAY
Is studio day when we finish off paintings and Caroline and Alex go over anything particular or teach you something specific.
We package up your canvases (you can put them in the aeroplane hold for the price of another suitcase)
You receive your printed record of the week
SATURDAY
Day of leisure. Take a boat trip to Puerto Banus. A bus trip into Malaga or just laze on the beach!!
Abstraction and Interpretism is all taught
SUNDAY
We take you to the airport. Very sad!! But most students come back again and again!!
